Tabitha Schillinger began her ministry on staff in June 2019. She was born and raised in Douglas County and has been an FPC member since 1998. She earned her degree in early childhood education from Berry College. Along the way she became certified in General Special Education and in Adaptive Curriculum for Special Education. She has spent the last 10 years teaching in Georgia public schools; the last 4 ½ years in Special Education.
She is married to her high school sweetheart Brad Schillinger, and they have 3 children: Nathan, Rebecca, and Adam. She considers herself an expert on being a free Uber driver to her kids, a soccer/football/volleyball mom, and a gourmet quick-meal chef. In her free time… who are we kidding…she’s a mom. As a multi-tasker, she enjoys riding her bike, spending time with her family, decorating her house, and coffee! Tabitha's hope for children at FPC is to engage in weekly activities at the church, be excited while learning of God’s love, and to explore their faith as a family at home.
